A iniciativa será composta por vereadores indicados pelos partidos com representação na CMS, no intuito de incentivar a defesa do esporte na capital baiana.

De acordo com o parlamentar, a comissão irá estimular o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas de apoio ao esporte. “O objetivo é fortalecer o esporte e o tornar cada vez mais presente na vida dos nossos jovens, pois essa é uma preciosa ferramenta de inclusão social. Acredito que meus colegas vão aprovar esse projeto”, pontuou.

A Frente Parlamentar vai propor, analisar, desenvolver estudos e projetos para o esporte, além de fiscalizar e viabilizar iniciativas dos Poderes Legislativos e Executivo do Município de Salvador. Após a aprovação, a FPE realizará audiências públicas, seminários, palestras e outras atividades afins que possam desenvolver e orientar políticas específicas de apoio no segmento.
